To enable the Billerica Public Library to keep pace with the constantly evolving world of information and the community’s need for attractive, up-to-date, dynamic spaces and services.
To encourage private initiatives and gifts ensuring the residents of Billerica a library befitting the twenty-first century by garnering private support to supplement Town funding.
Goals
- To help meet future demands for state-of-the-art access to the world of information through contemporary and evolving technologies.
- To provide supplementary support to maintain the attractive appearance of the library and its furnishings.
- To enhance the role of the library in enriching our community’s cultural, educational and recreational life.
- To maintain a strong supportive relationship between the Foundation, the Library Board of Trustees and the Family Friends of the Library to achieve our common goal of excellent library facilities and services.
