Summer Reading 2018

    Fiesta Fun for Everyone!

This year, all ages are celebrating Mexico as we read about, learn about, and experience the culture and diversity of our neighbors to the south. There are a variety of ways for people of all ages to participate, starting with our “Taco Tuesday” Fiesta Kickoff Party on June 19th (click for details).

Adults (ages 18+) will be able to earn entries for weekly prize drawings, when we will be giving away “Taste of Mexico” prize baskets with $25 gift cards to local Mexican restaurants; “Taco Tuesday..or any day” baskets with smaller gift cards to Chipotle, Taco Bell, or similar places; and even Lowell Spinners game vouchers. For details and to sign up, click here.

Young Adults going into grades 5-12 can earn tickets all summer long to enter for various prizes that will be awarded at the end of the summer. Prizes include gift cards for everything from pizza to an escape room experience, and even a free limo ride on the first day of school. For details of our Young Adult Summer Program, click here

Children younger than grade 5 can pick up a challenge sheet at the library containing fun ways to experience the joy of books (and of course win prizes). For more info on our Children’s Summer Program, click here

The library will be decorated with fun, festive areas, and we will be hosting a variety of themed programs for all ages to enjoy – please see our online events calendar for the listings.

We hope you’ll join our “Fiesta Fun for Everyone” this summer!
