Big Library Read Virtual Discussion, 4/9/20, 7pm

The Billerica Public Library is participating in Overdrive’s Big Library Read, the world’s largest digital book club, from March 23-April 13! The title is Michael McCreary’s “Funny, You Don’t Look Autistic.”  We will also be hosting a virtual book club to discuss this title on Thursday, April 9th at 7 pm.* There are no waitlists or holds for this title, so you can download it instantly whenever you would like to read it until April 13.

YA Harry Potter Bingo (via Zoom), 4/14/20, 2pm

We’re going to use the Apparate Spell and magically appear in a Zoom Conference to play a few rounds of Harry Potter Bingo! I’ll email you the Zoom code the night before so please use a valid email address. All you have to do is click on the link, enable audio, and get ready to play! This is open to anyone in Grades 5-12.

YA Graphic Novel Book Club, 4/8/20, 2pm

We will be discussing the graphic novel, This Was Our Pact by Ryan Andrews.  The day before this event, I will email a code to everyone who registered for this conference.   This was the book we were reading earlier in March.  If you still have it at home or if you have read it in the past join us.

How to Get a Card

You can register for a card online through the e-card portal: E-Card Registration. More details can be found here: BPL E-Card FAQ. For help registering for a card, call the 2nd floor reference desk at 978-671-0948 ext. 4.
