Founded in 1996 by a group of volunteer patrons, the Family Friends of the Billerica Public Library is a non-profit organization whose goal is to provide financial support to the library through fundraising. The financial support from the Family Friends enhances the ability of the library to provide programming for adults, young adults, and children. They also purchase museum passes that are widely used by the public, support cultural events, and fund needed supplies.

Our mission is to support the library’s work in connecting people with knowledge, resources, and each other. The Family Friends are dedicated to making a positive difference in Billerica and creating a lasting impact for patrons of all ages.
