Storytimes provide the opportunity to bring together young children and books in a joyous, meaningful situation. Storytime is designed with purpose in mind. This purpose is to encourage a love of language and books, introduce first lessons in listening, help children develop basic social skills through cooperation with others in a group and provide an opportunity for parents to interact with their children in a happy, relaxed atmosphere.
NOTE: When Billerica Schools are cancelled or delayed due to weather conditions, daytime storytimes will be cancelled, even if the Library remains open.
Schedule
Winter storytimes will resume the week of January 26.
Due to feedback and increased popularity, we are continuing our return to “registered” morning storytimes. We believe this will create a storytime environment that is enjoyable, personalized, interactive and impactful.
Patrons may only register their child for either session 1 or session 2. Barring illness or emergencies, please be sure that you can commit to all of the dates during your session. Space is limited.
