Welcome to the No Club Book Club
No commitment. No pressure. No meeting!
Do you love reading book club selections but hate the pressure of attending a book club meeting? This club is for you!
We will select a monthly book club selection on the first of each month; you check it out from the library (monthly selections will be available at the circulation desk and online, if available.) Join our Facebook group if you decide if there is anything you’d like to discuss, all without leaving the comfort of your internet connection!

Monthly SelectionI Love a Mystery Book Club
Whether you savor a cozy murder mystery, a classic whodunit, or a thriller, I Love a Mystery Book Club is a great way to add to your “to read” list. You are welcome to join this event in person in the second floor conference room at the library OR via Zoom.

2024 Schedule and Reading ListKnitting Group
On Monday mornings at 11am, join a group of advanced knitters to learn from each other and chat about what you’re making. Bring your own materials and projects. 6-week beginners’ classes are sometimes offered in addition. Check the calendar to find out more, or email slomison@billericalibrary.org for more information.
Reel Talk Film Club
On the first Tuesday of every month the film club meets to discuss our chosen film. The films, including selections from a wide range of genres, are all freely available through the library streaming service Kanopy. Plots, themes, characters, soundtracks, symbols, and cinematography are all on the table as we discuss classic Hollywood, indie foreign films, documentaries, or feel-good comedies.

What's Cooking? Recipe and Book Club
Share recipes, experiences, and samples with other amateur chefs and home -cooking enthusiasts at our monthly recipe and cookbook club. Each month has a different pre-selected theme. This club meets on Saturday mornings once a month, in-person at the library, so we can share yummy treats with each other!

Liner Notes Music Club
Are you a self-proclaimed “music nerd”? Do you want to learn more about different musical genres? Have guilty pleasure that you just need to get off of your chest? (We know how much you love Nickelback…) If so, come join us for Liner Notes, our interactive, judgment free music club at Billerica Public Library! Our meetings will be held on the third Tuesday of the month from 7-8pm, in the second floor conference room. Can’t make it in person? Attend virtually via Zoom!

Have your own book club? Interested in starting one?
Book Club Kits are for you! Each kit contains approximately 15 copies of a single title, along with a book discussion guide to help facilitate your conversation. Some kits include extra materials, such as a movie if the book has been adapted, maps, or additional resources.
